Remarks Choose the appropriate die size according to the size of pipe you want to weld. The heating time starts when the pipe and fitting are placed in the welding die. The soldered elements must remain still until they cool down within a certain time. Ex: On a plastic pipe with an outer diameter of 20mm, the heating time will be 5 seconds, the welding time 4 seconds and then you have to let it cool down for 3 minutes.
